What is Multilogin?

What is Multilogin?

A digital fingerprint & proxy manager.

How does Ticket Boat use Multilogin?

Multilogin is an app which Ticket Boat utilizes to create, manage and organize ticket buying accounts into digital fingerprints, a process called fingerprinting.

Fingerprinting is the process by which ticketing/vendor sites like Ticketmaster, VividSeats, etc identify, segment & categorize their site users. There are many reasons why vendors are interested in identifying users, not least of which is in order to enforce ticket buying limits or other compliance policies.

A digital fingerprint is a set of information about an “individual” gathered together based on many individual data points, most likely including and definitely not limited to:

Email account(s), Name, Address, Phone Number(s), Credit Card(s), Device(s) used to purchase, etc

If the site owner finds enough matching info for any of these datapoints on two ticket buying accounts, they may flag those accounts as ones used for dodging compliance policies and if an account is flagged, it may become entirely locked out at the vendor’s discretion.

In order to avoid the risk of inventory being lost to a locked account, Ticket Boat utilizes Multilogin in order to ensure accounts are separated by fingerprint.

How will I use Multilogin?

Our employees utilize Multilogin in many different ways, but some of the most common ways are as follows:

  • Buying Tickets

  • Order Fulfillment/Ticket Transfers/Barcode Creation

  • Easy Account Access / Auditing Account Information

What does Multilogin do?

As mentioned above, Multilogin enables us to create, organize and manage digital fingerprints for our ticket buying accounts.

The way it manages this is by opening a custom Chromium browser window for each fingerprint. In the screenshot below, each of the “Start” buttons on the right opens a corresponding browser, already logged in to the accounts saved to the fingerprint.
