Remote Desktop Set-Up guide

By Glenn Robuck

(This guide assumes all computers have AnyDesk installed. Going forward, we’ll need to adjust the process slightly if we stop installing AD onto new computers)

You will need:

  1. The Account we’re using to link all computers

  1. brentV1brown@gmail.com

  1. MOpIP9#d_#abRLv-k4$r

  1. If it tells you to paste a code from a phone, BOK19 can be remoted into to perform the approval.

  1. (May need recovery email to verify) skybox.ticketboat@gmail.com

  1. The OFFICE computer ADID

  1. The OFFSHORE computer ADID (make sure they understand you need their PERSONAL ADID)

Step by Step Process

  • Log into the Brent gmail account.

  • Make sure you ACTUALLY in that one, and not whatever account was logged in previously.

  • Copy that URL into the chrome search bar.

Set up remote access (you need to hit this twice in a row, you’ll want to see your PC download a file in the top right)

Install the plugin

  • Then install on the local computer. Both are required.

  • Set up the username (INV # for Office PCs, Offshore name + Personal for Offshore PC)

  • They may prefer both monitors displayed on 1 screen, in which case I don’t think anything needs to be done.

  • If they want full screen and the ability to swap, have them hit the arrow to the right middle of the screen.

  • Then have them hit Display 1.

  • Then have them hit the arrow again to bring the menu back up.

  • Have them hit Configure Keyboard short cuts.

  • Enable it

  • Hit left ALT.

  • Exit the menu after they get here

Now they can swap between monitors easily with ALT + 1 and ALT + 2.

  • Reach out to Nicholas Pusateri with any questions.

Thanks.
