User Accounts: Ticket Boat Portal

This goes over how to create, disable and reenable accounts in our Ticket Boat Portal.

There is another Ticket Boat portal meant for quality assurance before it hits production. In the event that an account needs to be made you would follow the same instructions but go to http://192.168.10.45/ instead. Make sure to use the same password that was created for the production portal.


Make:

  1. Go to the Ticket Boat Portal

    1. 192.168.10.210

    2. portal.ticketboat.com

  2. Log into your account

  3. On the left, click Admin > User Admin

    1. You may need to scroll down the menu.

  4. In the first dropdown menu, select ‘Ticketboat’.

  5. in the second dropdown menu, select ‘Admin’

  6. Put in their First & Last Name.

  7. Username should always be First initial + Last name.

  8. Put in a password.

    1. Generate a password from last pass

      1. 9 characters

      2. All check boxes marked

      3. Some special characters are not allowed.

  9. Click 'Add User'

  10. A successful message should pop.


Reenable/Disable:

  1. Follow steps 1-3 from above.

  2. Find the existing user.

    1. This can be done by using one of the searches.

  3. Click the active flag box by their user to enable/disable to user.

    1. A check means enabled

    2. Blank means disabled

Note: At this time, there is no way for us to delete users via the portal. Someone would have to go to through the backend to delete.
